Green People Organic Children Sun Lotion (22 EUR)
Although we didn't have plenty of sunlight in Finland this summer, I still managed to get my hand on a new sun lotion: Organic Children Sun Lotion SPF 25 by Green People.
I bought it from FeelUnique for 22 EUR around March time, when the sun literally starts to shine in Finland. And I have been using it quite regularly since then.
It claims to have 81% organic ingredients like aloe vera, edelweiss, avocado and lavender without parabens, colourants or any other harsh chemicals and provides protection from UVA and UVB with SPF of 25.

Lovely packaging
First of all, I love the packaging. It looks so fun and colourful with a little green germ wearing sunglasses and smiling under the sun. Plus, I always adore tube containers for skin products because it's most hygienic and easy to use.
This product is the combination of physical and chemical sun lotion. Its two main sunblock agents are Titanium Dioxide and Isoamyl P-Methoxycinnamate aka Amiloxate. While the former is well-known for being one of the main ingredients of physical sunscreen, the latter is used in chemical sun protections. However, the two substances share one similarity: they only block/absorb UVB rays, but not the full spectrum of UVA rays. As a result, this lotion doesn't fully protect you from the sun's UVA. Plus the SPF 25 doesn't last you more than 4 hours of sun exposure.

The consistency is thick and creamy thanks to Cetearyl Alcohol, so a little goes along way. But Cetearyl Alcohol is oil soluble, not water soluble, so you can't really remove this sunscreen with just water.
It has a strong lavender sent that might be overwhelming to some people but pretty pleasant to lavender lovers like me.
Like many other physical sunblocks, it absorbs relatively slowly and does leave white cast with a little shine on your skin. This product doesn't feel light or particularly heavily on the skin, it lies somewhere in the middle and once set, it leaves your skin feel smooth, not oily like when you first apply. It doesn't mean I would use or recommend using it as a face moisturiser. I have experienced some flakiness happened on my forehead while testing it on my face.

Overall, this green sunscreen is good for babies (didn't spot out any toxics) and adults' bodies without any sensitive skin conditions. For who living in higher latitude areas (such as Finland) where the sun rays aren't that strong and horrifying. Although I really appreciate the good ingredients as well as goodwill the product is packed with, I would rather not to buy it again.
