Autumn is the perfect time of the year to rock some cropped knits. They are fun, trendy and don't look as heavy as a full length ones. They shorten your back and elongate your legs (who doesn't want that?) as well as make the best out of your summer clothes in a more chilly weather. Styling cropped jumpers might be tricky and wearing them can put some of you out of your comfort zone, but you know what, why let those silly things stop us from experiencing these amazing pieces of fashion and enjoying ourselves rocking them. Here is how I style cropped knits:

Layering is some thing I never get bored of when speaking of jumpers. Underneath, I like to wear shirts with collars for a more preppy look.

Now, you can choose also cropped shirts or very long shirts. I found normal shirts look kind of funny underneath cropped knits. This amazing Kiss the Sky cropped floral tartan shirt will add a nice touch to the jumper when revealing its tartan collar, sleeves' ends and a bit of it's front and back. Or you can go all loud with this Top Shop long shirt to play with the lengths.

The same concept here with top layer. You can stay safe with this Mango cropped leather jacket. It reduces the preppy feels while adding some shine and modern to your outfit. Or you can rock this Monki slouchy cardigan to really emphasise the crop. This will also make your bottom looks even longer.

Cropped jumpers doesn't mean it has to be high waisted bottoms. However, I still find they work best together in re-proportioning your body. Besides, I don't think I would ever feel comfortable in an outfit that exposes my belly.

Trousers nowadays are the combination of the flattery from skinny jeans and the comfort you get from sweat pants. So I picked here a pair of high-waisted trousers from Monki. I looks so effortless yet classy when pairing with this jumper.

For a more feminine look, you can go with this high-waisted skirt from H&M. The colours and printing of this skirt are just truly elegant yet young.

High-waisted skinny jeans are just the classic, go-to pieces that always go perfectly well with any cropped tops. I have here the two skinny jeans from ASOS. You can play with the cut, colours, materials and pattens to renew your look with skinny jeans.

I hope that was helpful for those of you who are hesitating of trying out cropped jumpers. Please tell me how you would like to style them in the comment section. I would love to know :D
